MANCHESTER UNITED LEAD TRANSFER RACE FOR £86M ATLETICO MADRID FORWARD JOAO FELIX -

Manchester United lead the race for Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix, also linked to Barcelona and Bayern Munich, while they also hope to give Marcus Rashford a new contract. Elsewhere, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is unlikely to replace Hansi Flick for the German national team, and Nottingham Forest are closing in on Palmeiras midfielder Gustavo Scarpa.

Manchester United have identified a potential replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to the Daily Express. With Ronaldo now a free agent and Erik ten Hag short of options up front, the paper reports that 23-year-old Portuguese forward Joao Felix would be an option. He could cost around £86 million, and other potential suitors Bayern Munich and Barcelona probably cannot afford him.
